Dynamic.ly is a pilot-stage mobile app for restaurant operators, built around vendor costs, recipes, inventory, and the decisions managers make before service.

The mission

Give restaurant teams a clear daily view of the costs, recipes, inventory, and service windows that need attention — and keep the decision with the person running the restaurant.

Why this problem

Restaurant margin can move with one invoice, one case size, or one prep decision. The evidence already exists in invoices, recipes, counts, and sales records. Connecting those records helps the manager understand what needs attention before service.

What we are building

A mobile app that works with the restaurant’s existing records. It explains the change, shows the calculation and any estimate, and prepares a next step within the restaurant’s limits. The manager decides; a clear record stays attached.

Where we hold the line

The boundaries matter more than the ambition.

Decision authority: Manager decides
Dynamic.ly prepares an issue with its source attached. A person approves, edits, rejects, or ignores it. No consequential change is self-approved.
Estimates: Separate from results
Projected impact is labelled as an estimate and never presented as a measured outcome. We do not publish savings we have not measured.
Point of sale: Read-only where connected
Square may provide optional read-only context when included and authorized for the pilot setup. Dynamic.ly does not write to a provider's catalog or menu.
Happily: Separate product, not connected
Happily is a separate consumer product today. There is no live connection, and nothing is published to it from Dynamic.ly.
